Jessie Burks scored her first collegiate goal in the Tigers 3-1 loss to No. 10 Penn State, Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Graduate student forward Amy Dobson intercepted a pass deep in the Penn State zone early in the first period, forcing Josie Bothun to make the save.
- Sophomore forward Kylie Aquaro had a shot on target in an early rush for the Tigers.
- Sophomore goalie Sarah Coe made a save on a shot from Penn State's Kiara Zanon on her shot from in front.
- Olivia Wallin tipped in a loose puck in front of the RIT net at 11:31 of the first to give the Nittany Lions the lead.
- Dobson had a shot on target at 7:53 of the second.
- Izzy Heminger scored on a wrist-shot from the high slot at 12:02 of the second to give Penn State a 2-0 lead.
- Burks scored at 5:15 of the third period on assists from Nolan and Dobson. She beat Bothun with a wrist-shot into the near-corner.
- Zanon scored an empty-net goal in the closing seconds to make it a 3-1 final.
GAME NOTES
- Penn State outshot RIT, 43-17.
- Coe made 40 saves for the Tigers.
RIT went 1-for-2 on the power play and blocked 15 shots.
