ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT men's tennis team defeated Nazareth 9-0 in non-conference action, Tuesday.
Sophomore's
Christian Berko and
Grahith Movva won 8-0 over Dominic Vito and Chris Benedict at first doubles.
Graduate student
Brennan Bull and sophomore
Joel Pho defeated Isiah McMurray and Pierre Ntonga, 8-0 at second doubles, while second-years
Max Chang and
Verosh Jayanetti won 8-0 over Tanner Spear and Curtis Clermont at third doubles.
Movva was a 6-2, 6-2 winner over Vito at first singles. Berko defeated McMurray 6-0, 6-2 at second singles and Bull was a 6-4, 6-4 winner over Ntonga at third singles.
Pho defeated Benedict, 6-0, 6-1 in the fourth singles match, Chang beat Noah Britton, 6-1, 6-2 at fifth singles and Jayanetti was a 6-0, 6-0 winner over Collin Bennet at sixth singles.
RIT returns to action on Friday (Feb. 17) at RPI at 5:00 p.m.
