HOUGHTON, N.Y. – The RIT women's track and field team began its indoor season at the Houghton December Classic at Kerr-Pegula Field House, Friday.

• Junior Caroline Hill finished third in the 300 with a time of 42.15
• Senior Ally Zuidema placed third in the 3,000 (11:37.86)
• The distance medley team of first-year Rachael Ladd, Zuidema, Hill and senior Katie Cobos finished third (13:30.05)
• Junior Emily DiMarco earned a second-place finish in the shot put (11.94) and finished fourth in the weight throw (14.55)
• Senior Catherine Fox won the pole vault event (3.50)
• Senior Violet Ameele finished third in the triple jump (10.70)
