HOW IT HAPPENED
- Junior defender Rachel Marriott took a shot in the 11th minute that was deflected by the RPI goalkeeper and an open Onodera scored off of the deflection, putting the Tigers up early
- In the 41st minute, senior Natalie Faiola served a pass inside the box to first-year midfielder Emma Pedro, who headed the ball over just above the crossbar
- Dribbling outside the box, Onodera found junior midfielder Olivia Harris in front of the goal who then skipped a pass to a wide open Gomez, scoring for the Tigers in the 46th minute
- In the 61st minute, the Tigers had another great shot opportunity off of a corner kick where Marriott took a shot that was saved just below the crossbar
GAME NOTES
- Gomez's goal was her fifth of the season, making her the team's leading scorer
- Onodera's goal was her fourth of the season, putting her in second on the team in scoring
- RIT out-shot RPI 14-3 with seven being on-target
