ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Three RIT student-athletes were honored by the Liberty League with Player of the Week recognition, announced Monday, January 16.
Senior swimmer
Brendan Kapp was named Swimmer of the Week for the fourth time this season, while first-year
Miles Lim earned Rookie of the Week accolades for the fifth time. Sophomore diver
Gellert Kish was named the Diver of the Week for the fifth time this season.
Kapp won two individual events and swam a leg in the winning 200 medley relay to lead No. 19 RIT to a win at Rochester, Saturday. The senior swimmer won the 100 breaststroke (57.71) and the 200 breaststroke (2:05.81) and swam the second leg in the 200 medley relay (1:33.19).
Kish won the 1-meter and 3-meter diving competitions to help No. 19 RIT to a win over Rochester, Saturday. He placed first in the 1-meter competition with a score of 292.27 and the 3-meter competition with a score of 299.33.
Lim won two individual events to help lead No. 19 RIT to a win at Rochester, Saturday. The first-year swimmer won the 200 butterfly (1:55.37) and the 500 freestyle (4:49.07).
