CLINTON, N.Y. -- The RIT women's tennis team competed at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Northeast Regional Championships at Hamilton College from Friday to Sunday (Sept. 23-25).

Junior Jackie Drozd won her first singles match against Nazareth College's Katherine Zak, 6-1, 6-2. Drozd lost in in the Round of 32 to NYU's Dakota Fordham in two sets (6-1, 6-0).

Graduate student Kirsten Auble fell to NYU's Ida Krause 6-0, 6-1 in the opening round. Auble and Drozd lost to RPI's Brooke Bauer and Masha Karach, 8-2 in the opening round of doubles competition. 

The Tigers now begin their winter break, and will return to competition at RPI on Feb. 17 next year.
