ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The RIT baseball team fell to host Rochester, 12-3, in Liberty League play in the regular season finale, Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Yellowjackets added five more runs in the fourth for a 10-0 lead, highlighted by a two-run triple from Dan Tirabassi and a two-run home run from Harper Sy.
  • Senior left fielder Chris Reilly's two-run home run scored senior third baseman Patrick Blackall in the sixth inning for a 10-2 game, but Rochester also added two runs in the bottom of the inning to restore its 10-run lead from a solo home run and an RBI single.
  • Blackall's single scored junior catcher Zach Mecca for the game's final run in the ninth.
