Match Recap: Men's Tennis |

Men’s Tennis wins over Oneonta, 9-0

ROCHESTER, N. Y. -  The RIT men's tennis team beat visiting Oneonta, 9-0, in non-conference action at the RIT tennis courts, Tuesday.

The Tigers captured all three doubles matches with the closest coming at first doubles where senior Jake Wolicki and graduate student Jacob Meyerson won 8-7. Freshman Joel Pho and senior Carter Casimir took second doubles, 8-0, while freshmen Christian Berko and Grahith Movva were 8-1 winners at third doubles.

In singles play, Berko rallied with 7-5 and 10-7 set wins after falling in the first set, 6-3, in first singles. Moova captured second singles, 7-6, 6-4. Wolicki took third singles, 6-4, 6-1. Pho took a 6-3 first-set lead, before falling 6-4 in the second set, but took the fourth singles match with a 6-3 third-set win. Freshman Max Chang split his first two sets with a 6-2 win and 6-3 loss before taking the third, 10-3, in fifth singles. Casimir won at sixth singles, 6-2, 6-3.

Men's Tennis next travels to Bard on Friday, April 8 at 6:30 p.m. in Liberty League action.
