ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT men's tennis team fell to visiting Hobart, 8-1, in Liberty League action Wednesday.

Joel Pho were 8-6 winners over Troy Steiner and Harry Lyu at second doubles to score the Tigers' lone point. Freshmen
Christian Berko and
Grahith Movva lost a close 8-7 (7-5) match to Sean Pesin and Jett Wright in first doubles, while senior
Carter Casimir and sophomore
Ethan Martin fell 8-4 to Jack Ledford and Thomas Shung in third doubles.
In singles action, Pho went three sets against Jacob Linares in third singles after taking the first set 6-0, and then falling 6-2, 13-11. Berko fell 6-4, 6-1, in first singles to Pesin. Movva lost in second singles to Lyu, 6-4, 6-0. Freshman
Max Chang fell to Steiner in fourth singles, 6-3, 6-2. Meyerson lost a pair of 6-0 sets to Hyat Oyer in fifth singles, and Martin fell 6-2, 6-2 to Rahul Vallabhajosula in sixth singles.
Men's Tennis next travels to Le Moyne on Saturday, April 16 at 12 p.m. in a non-conference match.
