Women's Soccer wins 3-1 at St. Lawrence

CANTON, N.Y. – RIT sophomore forward Sam Halligan scored two goals to lead the Tigers to a 3-1 win at St. Lawrence, Saturday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Halligan gave the Tigers a 1-0 lead on her goal in the 49th minute on an assist from graduate student defender Jessica Wagner.
  • Halligan notched her second goal of the game in the 54th minute off an assist from sophomore forward Emma Schock.
  • St. Lawrence's Emma Casey tallied in the 66th minute to pull the Saints to within a goal.
  • Freshman defender Roberta Moger scored off a pass from Halligan in the 84th minute to make it 3-1, Tigers.
 
GAME NOTES
  • RIT outshot St. Lawrence 19-5, including nine on net.
  • First-year goalie Emily Sanchez made two saves in net to earn her first college win.
  • Halligan recorded career-highs in points and goals.
