MADISON, N.J. -- The RIT men's tennis team completed the fall portion of their schedule on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Sept. 30-Oct. 2) as they competed in the ITA Northeast Regional hosted by Drew University.
RIT HIGHLIGHTS:
Sophomores
Christian Berko and
Grahith Movva both won their opening round matches in the singles main draw. Berko defeated Nazareth's Isaiah McMurray 6-1, 6-0 to advance to the round of 32, while Movva beat Oneonta's August LePique 6-3, 6-3.
Both Tigers lost in the round of 32. Berko was eliminated by The College of New Jersey's Ronaldo Jacome, 6-2, 6-3, while Movva fell to RPI's Abraham Yohannes, 6-2, 6-0.
Berko and Movva teamed up for the doubles main draw, but lost in the opening round to the Vassar duo of Fernando Bauermeister and Nolan Kubiak, 8-4.
First-year
Brian Bork was eliminated in the first round of the singles main draw by Ramapo's Kenny Elliot, 6-2, 6-4.

The Tigers will return to play in the Spring when they travel to Daemen to face the Wildcats on Feb. 3.
