ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The RIT women's hockey team travels to RPI for a pair of non-conference games this Friday and Saturday, Oct. 21-22.

RIT lost a pair of non-conference games at No. 6 Colgate by scores of 9-0 and 5-0, last weekend. Sophomore goalie
Sarah Coe made 23 stops in Friday's loss.

Emma Stephen made a career-high 62 saves in Saturday's loss. It was the most saves in a game by a RIT goalkeeper since
Ali Binnington stopped 62 shots against Mercyhurst in 2014.
ABOUT RIT
RIT enters the weekend first in the CHA averaging 2.88 goals per game and fourth, allowing 3.75 goals per contest. The Tigers lead the league averaging 4.63 assists and 7.5 points per game. RIT is tops in the CHA in power play percentage, converting 5-of-21 (23.8 percent) with the extra skater and penalty minutes per game, averaging 6:15 per contest.

Dobson is tied for second in the league averaging 3.63 shots per game, while Maloney is third in the league with 76 face-off wins.
Coe enters the weekend fifth in the CHA with a 3.51 goals against average, seventh with a .881 save percentage and seventh averaging 18.50 saves per game. Stephen is seventh in the CHA with a 4.58 goals against average, sixth with a .897 save percentage and averages 32.75 saves per contest.

RIT's sweep of Saint Michael's was the first for the Tigers since a pair of wins against Penn State in 2020.
HOLY SHOTS
RIT's 57 shots in the Tigers 9-0 win against Saint Michael's was the most for the Tigers since 2019.
GOAL FEST
The Tigers' 17 goals scored against Saint Michael's was the most in a weekend series since RIT tallied 17 in a two-game series against Sacred Heart in 2013.
RANK AND FILE
Six of the Tigers first eight games are against opponents ranked in the DCU/USCHO Division I Women's poll. RIT began the season with a pair of games at No. 15 UConn followed by a two-game series at No. 14 Vermont. The Tigers played at No. 6 Colgate October 14-15 and will face CHA rival No. 12 Penn State four times later in the season.
