Women's Soccer wins 2-0 at Skidmore

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – RIT sophomore forward Sam Halligan scored two goals to lead the Tigers to a 2-0 win at Skidmore, Saturday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Halligan converted a penalty kick in the 50th minute to give RIT the lead.
  • She struck for the second time in the 56th minute to make it a 2-0 final.
 
GAME NOTES
  • RIT outshot Skidmore 18-7.
  • The Tigers move into a tie for third with Vassar for third place in the Liberty League standings.
  • The Tigers had six corner kicks.
  • Senior goalie Darcie Jones made three saves to earn the win.
