Men's Soccer loses 1-0 at No. 19 Clarkson

POTSDAM, NY – The RIT men's soccer team lost 1-0 at No. 19 Clarkson in Liberty League action, Saturday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Sophomore midfielder Carlos Cardona had a chance for the Tigers in the 17th minute turned aside by Clarkson keeper Carter Kladstrup.
  • Sophomore forward Jaden Winall Longdon had his shot saved off the ensuing corner in the 18th minute.
  • Longdon had another chance in the 29th minute that was turned away, while senior forward Joshua Price had his shot saved off the rebound from Longdon's shot.
  • Clarkson's Jack Donnelly tallied in the 77th minute to give the Golden Knight's the lead.
 
GAME NOTES
  • RIT outshot Clarkson 12-8, including eight shots on net.
  • The Tigers took six corner kicks.
  • Sophomore goalie Jason Trapp made three saves in net for the Tigers.
