Kirsten Auble (Portland, OR/Sunset) and graduate student
Julia Smolowitz (Hudson, MA/Hudson) went undefeated at the St. Lawrence University Invitational on the Sammis Tennis Courts on Saturday afternoon.
Auble and Smolowitz posted 2-0 records against SUNY Geneseo and St. Lawrence opponents, helping the Tigers to a 10-12 record in round-robin singles play.
Auble defeated St. Lawrence's Lillian Sullivan, 8-4, and Geneseo's Natalia Krol, 8-2. Smolowitz took an 8-1 victory over Geneseo's Kylie Seiler, and beat St. Lawrence's Caitlyn Avery, 8-5.
In doubles action, Auble and Smolowitz split a pair of matches with an 8-5 win over Geneseo's Natalia Krol and Kylie Seiler.
The SLU Invitational wraps up the Tigers' fall season. The women's tennis team next returns to play on Sunday, Feb. 13, at Skidmore in Liberty League action.
