Men's soccer score two late goals in a 2-0 win over Owsego State

ROCHESTER, NY -- RIT Freshman forward Jaden Longdon (East Stroudsburg, PA/East Stroudsburg) scored two goals to help lead the Tigers to a 2-0 win over Oswego State Saturday afternoon. Freshman goalkeeper Jason Trapp (Bayville, NJ/Central Regional) earned his second shut-out of the season for RIT.

How It Happened
  • Longdon scored his first goal of the game in the 82nd minute off an assist from Josh Price (Baldwinsville, NY/C.W. Baker) that gave the Tigers the lead.
  • Longdon tallied his second in the 83rd minute off assists from David Merriman (Pittsburgh, PA/Fox Chapel Area) and Zac Salas (Durham, NC/Cross Roads Flex School) to give RIT a 2-0 advantage.
  • RIT's defense allowed one shot to get through on net for its second straight clean sheet.
Game Notes
  • RIT out-shot Oswego 13-2, including three on target.
  • Trapp made one save to earn his second win of the season.
  • Brian Terra made one save in the loss for Oswego.
