SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY -- The RIT women's tennis team was defeated, 7-2 at at Skidmore College in the Tigers Liberty League opener Saturday afternoon. In doubles, the team of
Annie Steinbrink (Ambler, PA/Upper Dublin) and
Julia Smolowitz (Hudson, MA/Hudson) won by default, while freshman Jackie Droz was winner by default at No. 6 singles. The Tigers are scheduled to return to action on Thurdsday, April 1, at the University of Rochester at 4 p.m.
