WINTHROP, Mass. – RIT freshman forward Kylie Aquaro was named College Hockey America Rookie of the Week, Monday.

Aquaro scored in back-to-back games against St. Thomas this past weekend. Her goals in each contest allowed the Tigers to enter the final period tied with the Tommies before dropping 3-1 (Oct. 29), and 2-1 (Oct. 30). Aquaro finished the weekend series with the team's top plus-minus at plus-1, and shooting percentage at .500 after registering four shots on goal.

RIT begins CHA play with a home-and-home series with Syracuse this weekend. The Tigers start on the road, Friday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m., followed by a 6 p.m. contest on Saturday, Nov. 6, at the Gene Polisseni Center.
