CORTLAND, N.Y. – RIT senior outside hitter
Taylor Higgins compiled a match-high 22 kills to go along with nine digs to lead the Tigers to a 3-1 (27-25, 26-24, 21-25, 25-22) victory at Cortland, Tuesday.
RIT won its 13th-consecutive match to improve to 21-2 on the season.
MATCH NOTES
- Higgins finished the match with a .400 hitting percentage
- Senior outside hitter Katie Hobler added 18 kills and nine digs.
- Senior libero Kiana Walker totaled a team-high 16 digs.
- Senior middle blocker Calista Gasper and freshman middle blocker Cat Vento each finished with four blocked shots apiece.
- Freshman setter Sydney Neff tied her four-set career-high with 48 assists to go along with nine digs and four blocked shots.

RIT looks to wrap up the top seed for the Liberty League Tournament with its final two conference matches. Already assured of no lower than the second seed, a win this Friday at Vassar (7:00 p.m.) or Saturday at Bard (2:00 p.m.) clinches the top seed and home-court advantage for the semifinals (Nov. 5) and championship (Nov. 6) matches.
