Men's Soccer loses 2-1 at Skidmore

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY – RIT (8-3-3, 3-1-2 Liberty League) had its six-game unbeaten streak snapped with a 2-1 loss at Skidmore (7-4-2, 2-2-2 Liberty League) Saturday. Senior forward Alec Jackson scored for the Tigers.
 
How It Happened
  • Skidmore's Isaac Myran scored in the fourth minute off a free-kick from Max Mian.
  • Mian scored in the 12th minute off a free-kick to give the Thoroughbreds a 2-0 lead.
  • Jackson scored in the 61st minute off a pass across the end-line from Freshman Jaden Longdon to pull the Tigers to within 2-1.
Game Notes
  • RIT out-shot Skidmore 21-6. The Tigers had 11 shots on target to four for the Thoroughbreds.
  • Freshman goalie Jason Trapp made two saves for RIT.
  • Bobby Stratts made 10 saves in net for the Thoroughbreds.
