ST. CHARLES, Mo. - The RIT (9-12-2, 2-7-0 CHA) women's hockey team was defeated, 3-0, at Lindenwood University (3-14-3, 1-8-0), Friday, in College Hockey America (CHA) action.
GAME NOTES
- Lindenwood got on the board four minutes into the first period on a goal from Jada Burke.
- Lindenwood scored twice during the second period to build a 3-0 lead. The first goal of the two was scored on a power play, 8:21 into the period. The second came with :19 seconds remaining.
- RIT outshot Lindenwood 36-29. Lindenwood goalie Annika Asplundh made 36 saves to earn the shutout for the Lions.
- Senior goalie Terra Lanteigne (Hatchet Lake, Nova Scotia/Charles P. Allen) made 26 saves for the Tigers.
