ROCHESTER, NY – The RIT men's tennis team (3-3, 0-2 Liberty League) fell by a score of 9-0 to Skidmore College (3-1, 3-0 Liberty League) from Midtown Athletic Club Sunday.
The Thoroughbreds opened the match by sweeping all three doubles matches. At second doubles,
Patrick Mathews (Rochester, NY/Churchville-Chili) and
Nick Lim (West Caldwell, NJ/West Caldwell) just missed the win, falling to Travis Leaf and Connor Biernat, 8-6.
Brennan Bull (Birmingham, MI/Birmingham Seaholm) put up a good battle at first singles, before falling to J.T. Wynne, 6-4, 6-4.
David Trimmer (York, PA/Dallastown) fell to Tristan Thiebaut at sixth singles, 6-4, 6-3.
RIT is right back in action at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 3 with a match versus Liberty League foe Union College from Midtown Athletic Club.
