ROCHESTER, NY – The RIT Center for Intercollegiate Athletics held its 2015-16 Student-Athlete Awards Banquet at Ingle Auditorium on the campus of RIT on Monday, May 9. Over 550 RIT student-athletes from its 24 varsity athletics teams attended the event.

SAAC Appreciation Award – Renee Carlineo
Tiger Power Den Male Athlete of the Year – Sam Weinger, Wrestling/Men's Lacrosse
Tiger Power Den Female Athlete of the Year – Maria Edwards, Women's Basketball
Comeback Athlete Award – Natalie Snyder, Women's Swimming and Diving
Team Academic Excellence Award (co) – Women's Tennis
Team Academic Excellence Award (co) – Women's Cross Country
A. Stephen Walls Leadership Award - Alexander Kuqali, Men's Hockey
Coaches Appreciation Award – Dr. Christine Blonski
Jan Strine Award - Meredith Ray
Ellingson Award (Academic Excellence) – Luke Dorsey, Men's Soccer
Female Senior Athlete of the Year – Emily Shoemaker, Women's Soccer/Softball
