ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, NY – The RIT men's basketball team (10-10, 6-5 Liberty League) couldn't keep up with Bard (7-14, 4-8 Liberty League) in the second half, falling 67-59 on Friday night.

Bard began to pull away midway through the second half. A Herman three pushed the lead to its largest at 35-30, but Bard quickly responded with five straight points to tie the game at 35. From there, the Raptors went on a 15-5 run to push the lead to 10, at 50-40.
The Tigers made one last push, as Horde scored five straight points to cut the deficit in half. Bard responded, as Armando Dunn scored on a traditional three-point play to hold the Tigers off, pushing the Raptors to victory.
Despite the loss, RIT still remains near the top of a competitive Liberty League standings. The Tigers are in a three-way tie for third with Vassar and Union at 6-5, just one game behind first place St. Lawrence, and a half-game behind idle Skidmore.
The Tigers will look to improve in the standings, concluding their road swing with a matchup against Vassar on Saturday at 4 p.m.
