Complete 2014-15 CHA All-Academic Team release

ROCHESTER, NY --
Fourteen members of the RIT women's hockey team earned 2014-15 College Hockey America All-Academic team honors, announced by the league on Monday, July 6.  Senior Ali Binnington (Oakville, Ontario/Mississauga Chiefs) was one named to the CHA Academic All-Star Team for the third straight year with a 4.0 grade-point average.

For the third straight season, a new standard has been set in the classroom for the student-athletes of College Hockey America, as 97 have earned a spot on the All-Academic Team. Six student-athletes earned additional distinction as the CHA Student-Athletes of the Year by posting cumulative GPAs of 4.0.

To qualify for the College Hockey America All-Academic Team an individual must post a 3.0 grade point average or higher in all of the academic periods during which her team was actively competing. 

The Tigers won the CHA Championship for the second straight season in 2014-15 and qualified for the NCAA Division I Tournament for the first time.
