ROCHESTER, NY –
The RIT women's hockey team returns home to Ritter Arena, as College Hockey America rival Robert Morris comes to town for a pair of games that both get underway at 2 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

There are just three regular season home games remaining at Ritter Arena before the Tigers move into the 4,200-seat Gene Polisseni Center in 2014-15. This weekend, RIT will "Remember Ritter Arena", with a handful of exhibits in the arena to help capture the storied 46-year history of Ritter Arena. This is the final weekend that both the men's (vs. Mercyhurst) and women's teams will be home at the same time.

With just four games left in the regular season, the Tigers currently have 18 points in CHA play, which puts them third, one point ahead of Syracuse. Robert Morris is second in the league standings with 22 points. If the season ended before this weekend's games, RIT would host Penn State in a best-of-three first round series.

The Tigers dropped a pair of games last weekend at No. 10 Mercyhurst, falling 5-1 on Friday and 5-2 on Saturday. On Friday, Katie Hubert (Burlington, Ontario/Burlington Barracudas) scored RIT's lone goal in the third period, while Jetta Rackleff (Bend, OR/Summit) made 18 saves. On Saturday, Marissa Maugeri (Ajax, Ontario/Durham West Lightning) had a goal and an assist, while Kolbee McCrea (Wawa, Ontario/Burlington Barracudas) scored her 15th goal of the season. Brooke Stoddart (Elmvale, Ontario/Elmvale) stopped a season-high 37 shots in defeat.

Marissa Maugeri (Ajax, Ontario/Durham West Lightning) leads the Tigers with 24 points in 29 games this season after tallying 21 points in her first 65 career contests. Maugeri has 17 points (6-11-17) over her last 14 games.  In net, Ali Binnington (Oakville, Ontario/Mississauga Chiefs) is slated to return this weekend. She is 9-8-2 with a 2.10 goals against average and .930 save percentage.

Robert Morris enters this weekend's games looking to snap a three-game winless streak. The Colonials earned one point last weekend against Syracuse, skating to a 3-3 draw on Friday and losing 3-1 on Saturday. Robert Morris is outscoring its opponents, 88-54 this season. Brittany Howard leads the team in scoring with 38 points on 15 goals and 23 assists, while Rebecca Vint has a team-best 20 goals. In net, Jessica Dodds is 18-3-3 with a 1.68 goals against average and .932 save percentage.

This will be the third and fourth meetings between the two schools this weekend. The all-time series is knotted at 4-4-1. Earlier in the season, Robert Morris won a pair of home games against RIT, winning 2-1 on Dec. 6 and 4-2 on Dec. 7. The Tigers are 2-0-1 all-time against the Colonials at Ritter Arena.

Starting Feb. 12, special puzzle piece jerseys that the RIT women's hockey team wore in its College Hockey America "Skate for the Cure" game against Lindenwood University on Jan. 25 will be auctioned off online at http://www.rit.edu/studentaffairs/autismup/index.php. All money raised during the online auction, which ends on Feb. 19 will go to AutismUp through the RIT United Way campaign. AutismUp is the leading autism organization in Rochester and the surrounding areas. Founded in 2004, by a small group of parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), their mission is to support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and their families, by expanding and enhancing opportunities to improve quality of life.

Tickets for this weekend's games are available at the Gordon Field House and Activities Center Box Office or by phone at (585) 475-4121. Fans can also purchase tickets at www.rithockey.com. Ticket prices are $5 for adults, $4 for faculty/staff/alumni and $3 for students and youth. RIT student admission is free with valid ID (ticket must be picked up at the box office, one per ID).

Saturday's game will be aired live on Time Warner Cable Sports Channel 26 with Gene Battaglia and Katie Stack '11 bringing you the action from Ritter Arena. In addition, both games will be broadcast over the airwaves on WITR 89.7 FM and witr.rit.edu and on America One. Live stats are also available for both contests.

Come out and support the Tigers in their final season at Ritter Arena. Next season, the Tigers move in to the 4,200-seat Gene Polisseni Center.
