RIT led 36-15 at halftime after Maiorano scored at the 2:56 mark to give the Tigers a lead they would hold the rest of the game. RIT shot 37.5 percent from the floor going 15-of-40 and 3-of-8 from behind the arc. Bender led the defensive effort with four steals. She added four first half points along with Judd off the bench.

In the second half, RIT maintained its lead with several players getting quality minutes. The Tigers played solid defense throughout the game, recording 26 steals.

RIT shot 33.8 percent from the floor for the game on 24-of-71 shooting. The Tigers were 6-of-16 from behind the arc and 8-of-16 from the line.

"I thought it was a great defensive effort," said RIT head coach Amy Reed. "We continue to play with intensity on the defensive end and that just fuels our offense."

The Tigers will be back in action in the first round of the Wendy's College Classic starting on Tuesday, Dec. 2.
