ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT (6-2, 1-0 Liberty League) women's lacrosse team opened Liberty League play with an impressive 23-0 win over Bard College (4-3, 0-1 Liberty League) on Friday afternoon on RIT's Turf Field. The 23 goals are a season-high for the Tigers and the shutout is the second in two seasons vs. Bard.
The Tigers dominated throughout, out shooting Bard 39-12, and won the ground ball battle 31-18. RIT was 16-of-17 on clearing attempts, while Bard was 10-of-17 on clears.
