ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT women's tennis team was defeated by Hamilton College 7-2 in non-league action on Saturday afternoon.

In doubles action, the team of Maite Vera (Santa Cruz, Bolivia/Mayor San Loranzo) and Elizabeth McGrail (Rockford, IL/Guilford) defeated Mira Khanna and Alex Arenson 8-5.

McGrail beat Khanna 7-6, 6-3 in first singles action, while Vera defeated Arenson in second singles 6-2, 6-3.

RIT returns to action on Wednesday, March 20 when the Tigers host Nazareth at 4 pm
