ROCHESTER, NY –
The RIT men's hockey team returns home to play a pair of contests against Atlantic Hockey Association foe American International College on Friday and Saturday at Ritter Arena. Both games will get underway at 7:05 p.m. Tickets still remain for both contests.

Park Point at RIT and Tim Horton's are Friday's game sponsors, while Locker Room Sports and Austin Spencer Collision will sponsor Saturday's contests. Friday is also a Junior Tiger Club game.

RIT (4-7-2, 3-3-0 AHA) comes into the weekend series riding a three-game winning streak after sweeping Sacred Heart in a two-game series last time out by scores of 5-2 and 4-0. The Tigers have 15 goals during that span. Freshman Mike Rotolo (Rochester, NY/Cedar Rapids Roughriders) has been in net for all three wins and has a 2.00 goals against average and .938 save percentage.  Rotolo recorded his first collegiate shutout, stopping 38 shots in Saturday's 4-0 win over Sacred Heart and was named the AHA Goaltender of the Week on Monday.

Mike Colavecchia (Maple, Ontario/Lindsay Muskies) has eight points over his last four games (2-6-8) and a team-best 16 points (7-9-16) in 13 games this season. He was named the AHA Player of the Week on Monday and needs just three points to become the sixth Tiger in RIT's Division I era to reach 100 for his career. Defenseman Greg Noyes (Lucan, Ontario/Salmon Arm Silverbacks) has 10 points (4-6-10) over a seven-game point-scoring streak, while Dan Schuler (Webster, NY/Powell River Kings) has six goals and eight points during a five-game point-scoring streak

American International (3-8-0, 3-4-0 AHA) enters this weekend's contests looking to snap a five-game losing streak. Jon Puskar leads the team in scoring with 12 points on four goals and eight assists, while Alexander MacMillan has a team-best six goals. American International has been outscored by its opponents, 51-29 this season. In net, Ty Reichenbach and Hunter Leisner have both seen ample minutes this season. Reichenbach is 2-4-0 with a 4.70 goals against average and .880 save percentage, while Leisner is 1-2-0 with a 4.01 goals against average and .880 save percentage.

RIT is 22-3-2 all-time against the Yellow Jackets, including a 19-3-1 mark since the 2005-06 season. RIT is 13-1-1 all-time against American International at Ritter Arena and finished 3-0-1 against the Yellow Jackets in 2012-13.

Tickets are available for both games at the Gordon Field House and Activities Center Box Office or by phone at (585) 475-4121. Fans can also purchase tickets at www.rithockey.com. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for RIT faculty, staff and alumni and $5 for students with ID.
