COLLEGEVILLE, PA - The RIT wrestling team continued its excellent start to the 2013-14 season with a great showing at the Fall Brawl hosted by Ursinus College on Saturday. Junior #
Brad Mayville (Marion, NY/Wayne)# led the Tigers attack with a first place finish at 149 lbs.
Mayville won all four of his bouts to earn the title at 149 lbs. for the Tigers. He opened the day by defeating Alex Kramer of Ursinus by a score of 6-0. He then defeated Brandon Giovanetti of Franklin and Marshall 1-0 to move on the the semifinals. In that round, Mayville secured a win over Derek Arnold of Ursinus by fall in 3:44. Mayville recorded a pin in just 1:15 over Sharron Townsend of Franklin and Marshall in the championship bout. Mayville is now 7-1 this season.

Jake Sepor (Stafford, NY/Pavilion)# earned a second place nod at 141 lbs. He opened with a 9-0 win over Tim McCann of Hunter, then advanced to the championship bout with a 6-2 win over Joe Cruz of Ursinus. He lost to Richard Durso of Franklin and Marshall in the championship round.

Tyler Brent (Gasport, NY/Royalton-Hartland) and
Eddie McBride (Germantown, MD/Northwest)# went 5-1 to record third place finishes in their respective weight classes.
At 184 lbs., Brent went 1-1 in the opening matches before winning his last four bouts in the consolation round. Brent won all five of his matches via pinfall, including the third place bout over Stevie Cervantes of the United States Naval Academy Prep in 4:13.
McBride, a heavyweight wrestling at 285 lbs., won his first three matches before bowing out in the semifinals. He rebounded to win his two consolation bouts, in a fall of 2:03 over Taylor Avino of McDaniel, before annexing the third place match over Patryk Kopczynski of Hunter by default.

Won Kim (Millbrae, CA/Mills)# went 3-2 at 141 lbs., with a pin, while #
Tory Cain (Ontario, NY/Wayne) and
