ROCHESTER, NY – The RIT wrestling team (2-12) fell to The College of Brockport (5-1) by a score of 32-12 in a dual match held at RIT's Clark Gym on Wednesday evening. Tonight's match was RIT's Tiger Den event, as 350 fans were in attendance. Three different Tigers earned wins.

#Tyler Brooks-Lambert (Seneca Castle, NY/Midlakes)# earned a dramatic win in the opening match of the evening, defeating Brockport's Aaron Dudley, 3-1 in overtime at 165 lbs.. Brooks-Lambert held a 1-0 lead after two periods, earning one point on an escape in the second frame. Dudley tied the match at 1-1 with an escape 33 seconds into the third period. The match went to overtime, when Brooks Lambert got the takedown just 18 seconds into the extra session to earn his fifth win of the year.

#Rory Bruce (North Tonawanda, NY/North Tonawanda)# held a 2-0 lead late in the first period, when he slammed McCabe hard into the mat. McCabe's head and shoulder struck the mat, and it was determined he could not continue wrestling, as he was helped to the Brockport bench.

#Brad Mayville (Marion, NY/Wayne)# improved to 25-7 and 9-2 in dual matches this season at 149 lbs., as he defeated Elian Golding, 9-4. Mayville led 4-1 after the first period and 6-2 after the second period en route to the win.

Brockport used pins from Jordan Dyer and Cole Tristam, and a technical fall win by Jon Casper. Dyer improved to 24-9 this season, while heavyweight John Wilkinson, ranked ninth in the country, defeated RIT's #Eddie McBride (Germantown, MD/Northwest)# 6-1 to improve to 18-2 in 2012-13.

The Tigers return to action on Saturday, as they compete at the Baldwin Wallace Tournament at 9 a.m.
