ROCHESTER, NY - The RIT women's hockey team (28-1-1) defeated Norwich (27-3-1) 4-1 on Saturday evening at the Frank Ritter Memorial Arena to win its first national championship.  RIT's 28 wins are a new Division III record.  Plattsburgh State (20-7-3) defeated Gustavus Adolphus (24-4-2) 4-3 in overtime to take third place.
