ANNONDALE-ON-HUDSON, NY -- Junior guard #
Leslie Havens (Wayland, NY/Wayland-Cohocton)# became the fifth player in RIT women's basketball history to score 1,000 career points, scoring 11 points in an impressive 81-28 win over Bard College in the season finale for the Tigers on Saturday afternoon. She reached the milestone on a three-pointer with 8:18 to play in the first half to give her 1,001 career points.
Havens joins Lauren Long (1,035), Ramata Dialo (1,065), Margot Sandy (1,136) and Amie Banis (1,466) as the only players in the history of RIT women's basketball to score 1,000 career points.
RIT opned the game on a 20-6 run, leading 44-14 at the half. The Tigers outscored the Raptors 37-14 in the second half to win their eleventh game of the season, the most wins since the 2009-10 season.
RIT shot 50 percent from the floor on 30-of-60 shooting. They were 4-of-12 from behind the arc, and were 17-of-22 from the foul line. RIT held a 40-32 rebounding edge, scoring 31 points off of 27 Bard turnovers.

Courtney Tennant (Cortland, NY/Cortland) led the Tigers with 14 points on 4-of-5 shooting from the floor. (Cohocton, NY/Wayland-Cohocton)Amy Zeller (Marion, NY/Marion)# scored a career-high 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the floor.

Anne Wapshare (Blasdell, NY/Immaculata Academy)# scored nine points, while Kayle Wheeler added eight points, as 12 players scored at least one point for the Tigers.
