ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT men's basketball team opened the 2012-13 campaign with a 67-64 win over Niagara College (Ontario) in exhibition action from Clark Gymnasium on Friday evening.

Nick Dobson (Corning, NY/Corning West) led RIT with 11 points and 13 rebounds, while dishing out five assists. Freshman #J.P. Reagan# added 22 points, while freshman Kamron Davis (Syracuse, NY/Nottingham) added 10 points for the Tigers who shot 41.3 percent from the floor on 26-of-63 shooting.

Lawrence McNeil led Niagara College with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Alex Campbell added 16 points, while Matt Poirer scored 14 points. Niagara College shot 33.8 percent from the floor on 24-of-71 shooting.

RIT openes the regular season on Tuesday, November 20 when they face Keuka College at 7 p.m. in Keuka Park, NY.
