ITHACA, NY - The RIT men's tennis team (1-3, 0-1 Empire 8) dropped its first Empire 8 match of the season, losing at Ithaca (4-3, 2-0 Empire 8) 6-3 on Thursday afternoon.  RIT won two singles matches and one doubles match.

Larry Hall (Fairport, NY/Fairport) picked up a 6-0, 7-5 win at fourth singles, while Amos Baptiste (Brooklyn, NY/Midwood) earned a 6-3, 7-6 win at sixth singles.  The duo of Hall and Neville Bilimoria (Mumbai/Schiller International) emerged victorious at second doubles, winning, 8-4.

RIT returns to action on Saturday, with a home match against Utica that gets underway at 1 p.m.
