ROCHESTER, NY – RIT forward #
Katie Stack (Batavia, NY/Rochester Edge)# tallied her fifth hat trick of the season as the fourth ranked RIT women's hockey team defeated SUNY Cortland (4-16-1, 3-11-1 ECAC West) 6-1 in ECAC West action on Friday night. Stack has 28 goals on the season which leads all of Division III.

Sarah Dagg (St. George, Ontario/Hamilton Hawks)#, who leads the nation in scoring, had a goal and an assist and #
Jamie Parhar (Calgary, Alberta)# had a goal and two assists as RIT improves to 15-4-3 overall and 10-3-2 in the ECAC West.
RIT out shot Cortland 51-12 and went 1-for-4 on the power play. The Tigers held Cortland scoreless on all five of their power plays. #
Amy Torgerson (Owatonna, MN/Gilmour Academy)# picked up the win for RIT making 11 saves. She improves to 9-2-2 on the season.
RIT dominated play in the first period, scoring four goals and out-shooting the Red Dragons 19-3. Junior forward
Katie Stack (Batavia, NY/Rochester Edge) had two goals in the period for RIT, giving her a Division III best 27 on the season.
Sarah Dagg (St. George, Ontario/Hamilton Hawks) and
Jamie Parhar (Calgary, Alberta) also had goals for the Tigers who led 4-0 after the first period.
Stack got the scoring going 1:44 into the period on assists from #
Kristina Moss (Webster, NY/Buffalo Bisons)#. Stack made it 2-0 at 9:57 on an assist from
Kayla Ross (Altoona, PA/Gilmour Academy).

Sarah Dagg (St. George, Ontario/Hamilton Hawks) and #
Kylie Mazzetta (Lakewood, CO/Colorado Selects)#. Dagg fired a pass over to Read who hand-cuffed Cortland goalkeeper Katie Double with a hard wrist shotfor her third tally of the season.

Belina Hooper (Meaford, Ontario/Saugeen Maitland Lightning)# to give RIT a 4-0 lead.
Stack picked up her fifth hat trick of the season with a goal at 15:50 of the second. It was her third of the game and 28th of the season and gave RIT a 5-0 lead.
Kylie Mazzetta (Lakewood, CO/Colorado Selects) fired a pass right on Stack's stick as she skated in alone and beat Double with a nifty move.
Shannon Hakes scored Cortland's lone goal of the game at 11:54 of the third period. She intercepted an attempted break-out pass by
Amy Torgerson (Owatonna, MN/Gilmour Academy) and beat her with a wrist shot, cutting the RIT lead to 6-1.
Dagg scored an unassisted goal at 15:01 of the third, and
Belina Hooper (Meaford, Ontario/Saugeen Maitland Lightning) rounded out the scoring with an even-strength goal at 19:27 on an assist from Parhar.
These same two teams will meet on Saturday, February 13 at 7:05 pm at the Frank Ritter Memorial Arena.
