ROCHESTER, NY – The No. 3 RIT women's hockey team improved to 8-0 and 6-0 in ECAC West play, scoring a season-high 10 goals in a 10-0 win over SUNY Potsdam (1-3-0, 1-3-0 ECAC West) on Saturday afternoon at Ritter Arena. Fifteen different players recorded at least a point for the Tigers.

The Tigers scored four power-play goals for the second straight game, going 4-for-10 with the man-advantage. They held Potsdam scoreless in four attempts with the power-play.
RIT out-shot Potsdam, 72-9. They fired 25 shots in each of the first two periods, and 22 in the final frame.

Schlattman opened the scoring at the 12:52 mark of the first period, jamming home a rebound off a point shoy by Read. #
Kolbee McCrea (Wawa, Ontario/Burlington Barracudas)# jammed at the rebound in front, with the puck trickling to Schlattman who scored her fifth goal of the season, fourth of the weekend.
Gemmiti made it 2-0 RIT four minutes later, blasting a shot from the right point past Salvarinas for her third goal of the year. Hiller and Epstein assisted on the power-play goal.

Dagg ripped a wrist shot past Salvarinas from the slot at the 8:51 mark after RIT sustained pressure for a good 30 seconds inside the Potsdam zone. Moss and Read assisted on the goal, Dagg's fourth of the year.
Epstein put the rebound home off a shot from Mazzetta past Salvarinas for her third goal of the season. Hiller also assisted on the goal.
RIT poured it on in the third period, scoring five times to put the game away.
The Tigers have now out-scored foes 51-7 in their eight games this season. They have scored 17 power-play goals.
Last night, the Tigers defeated Potsdam, 7-3 behind a hat-trick from Schlattman.
RIT has now won seven straight against the Bears.
The Tigers will host two-time defending national champion and top-ranked Amherst next Saturday and Sunday at Ritter Arena. Saturday's game gets underway at 2 p.m., while Sunday's game begins at 1 p.m.
