ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT women's hockey team defeated Brampton Thunder 4-1 in exhibition action on Saturday afternoon. Freshman forward #
Erin Zach (Elmira, Ontario/Cambridge Fury)# had two goals for the Tigers.
RIT out shot the Thunder 43-26 and went 1-for-9 on the power play. The Tigers held Brampton to 0-for-7 on the man advantage.

Laura Chamberlain (Norco, CA/LA Selects) got the start in net making 13 saves and allowing one goal. Sophomore (Pittsburgh, PA/Mountour)Carley King (Tinley Park, IL)# played the final 30 minutes and made 12 saves and allowed no goals. Brooke Stoddart allowed four goals and made 39 saves in net for the Thunder.
