With RIT on the power play, #Missy Hall (Chesterland, OH/Gilmour Academy)# (Chesterland, OH) fed #Megan Kobar (Calgary, Alberta)# (Calgary, AB) in front. Kobar's shot was saved but the rebound came to Mazzetta, who crashed the net, and she slammed it home for a 1-0 RIT lead.

Plattsburgh responded in the second period, scoring two goals. The Cardinals outshot RIT 11-4 in the period and controlled much of the play.

Lindsay Brown tied the score at 5:17 of the second. Megan DiJulio fired a shot that #Sandra Grant (Abbotsford, British Columbia/Pacific Steelers)# (Abbotsford, BC) saved but the rebound came right to Brown who shot it into the open net.

Grant took the loss, finishing with 18 saves.

The Cardnials took their first lead of the weekend at 19:12 with a second power play goal. Megan DiJulio kept the puck alive off a shot from Shay Bywater and jammed it home for a 2-1 Plattsburgh lead.

She jammed home the goal off a shot from #Ali Hills (Honeoye Falls, NY)# (Honeoye Falls, NY) for her ninth goal of the season.  #Erica Owczarczak (West Seneca, NY/Buffalo Bisons)# (West Senece, NY) also assisted on the goal.

Late in the period, Plattsburgh took two penalties and, with Grant pulled, it gave RIT a 6-on-3 advantage. #Keltie Jones (Burlington, Ontario/Burlington Jr. Barracudas)# (Burlington, Ontario), last night's hero, had a great chance with a one-timer from point-blank range but Danielle Beattie swooped over and made the save, keeping it a two-goal edge for the Cardinals.

RIT held a narrow edge in shots 25-22. The Tigers went 2-for-3 with the power play, while Plattsburgh went 3-for-6 with the extra man.
