ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT men's swimming and diving squad slipped past the University of Rochester, 126-115 at the Judson Pool on Saturday afternoon. RIT had six athletes win seven events, while both relay teams were victorious.
Seniors Quinn Donahoe (Syracuse, NY/West Genesee) (Syracuse, NY/West Genesee) and Matt Joseph (Pittsford, NY/Pittsford Sutherland) (Pittsford, NY/Pittsford Sutherland), each won a diving event. Donahoe broke his own 3-meter diving record for the fourth time this season, with a score of 348.20. Joseph defeated Donahoe 317.80 to 302.80 in the 1-meter event.
Steve Rois (Amherst, NY/Amherst) (Amherst, NY/Amherst) won the 200-yard and 500-yard freestyle. He won the 200-freestyle in 1:47.41 and took the 500-freestyle in 4:54.85.
Jeff Kaemmerlen (Fairport, NY/Fairport) (Fairport, NY/Fairport) was victorious in the 100-yard backstroke in a time of 53.91 seconds.
Phil Baudoin (Blacksburg, VA/Blacksburg) (Blacksburg, VA/Blacksburg) won the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 49.71 seconds.
Adam Luptak (Idaho Falls, ID/Skyline) (Idaho Falls, ID/Skyline) won the 100-yard butterfly in 54.32 seconds.
The 200-yard medley relay team of Kaemmerlen,
Steve Berus (East Amherst, NY/Williamsville North), Baudoin and Scott Hesterberg (Wasilla, AK/Colony) (Wasilla, AK/Colony) was victorious in a time of 1:40.50.

Brian Duffy (Clarence, NY/Clarence) (Clarence, NY/Clarence) and
Ryan Marchant (Norwich, NY/Norwich) (Norwich, NY/Norwich) won the 200-freestyle relay in 1:28.03
