ROCHESTER, NY --
Erica Main (Chittenango, NY/Chittenango)'s goal on an assist from Kyrstal Adriaansen (Marion, NY) in the 93rd minute gave RIT (4-3-1, 1-1-0 E8) a 2-1 overtime victory over Hartwick College (2-6-0, 0-3-0 E8) on Saturday afternoon.

Adriaansen hit a beautiful cross that went right to Main. She trapped and beat Hartwick keeper, Ashley Taylor for the game-winning goal.

Ashley Conti (Canfield, OH/Canfield) (Canfield, OH) made some big stops in the second half for RIT to preserve a 1-1 tie.

The Tigers had a golden opportunity in the second half to take the lead, but could not capitalize.

The Hawks took the lead in the 29th minute. Kristen Mellan fired a shot that banged off the cross-bar. The rebound came to Brittany Pine's feet and she one-timed a shot into the lower right corner for a 1-0 Hartwick lead.

Just before halftime Hartwick commited a foul just outside their own penalty area. Erica Main (Chittenango, NY/Chittenango) (Chittenango, NY) took a low shot that bended around the wall and into the net, tying the score at 1-1.

Heather Moe (Chesapeake Beach, MD/Calvert) (Chesapeake Beach, MD) had to make one save in the first half, while Ashley Taylor made five saves for the Hawks.

The Tigers will host Keuka College in non-conference on September 26 at 4 pm.
