ITHACA, NY -- The RIT women's soccer team was shut out by Ithaca, 4-0 in Empire 8 women's soccer action this afternoon.  It was the Empire 8 opener for the Tigers.

After a scoreless first half the Bombers scored goals in 52nd, 66th, 78th and 90th minutes to pull away from the Tigers who fall to 2-3-1 overall and 0-1-0 in the Empire 8. The Bombers are now 4-1-0 overall and 2-0-0 in the Empire 8.

The Tigers mustered just five total shots with one going on goal. Ashley Conti (Canfield, OH/Canfield) (Canfield, OH/Canfield) made six saves, allowing four goals.

The Tigers will host the University of Rochester on Tuesday afternoon at 4 pm on RIT Field.
