ROCHESTER, NY - The RIT women's track and field competed at the University of Rochester Last Chance Meet on a cold and dreary Saturday afternoon at Fauver Stadium.

 Adrienne Gagnier (Croghan, NY/Beaver River) (Croghan, NY/Beaver River) won the 1,500-meters in a time of 4:55.13..

Senior Danielle Simmons (Brewerton, NY/Brewerton) (Brewertown, NY/Brewertown) took the 800-meter dash in 2:16.07.

Senior Stephanie Matuszewski (Strongsville, OH/Strongsville) (Strongsville, OH/Strongsville) won the 100-meter hurdles in a time of :15.93 and took the pole vault with a leap of 3.05 meters.

Jamie Morey (/) finished third in the discus with a throw of 34.07 meters. 

RIT's 4 x 400-meter relay team was victorious in 4:08.27.

RIT is back in action on Friday and Saturday at the NYSCTC Championship hosted by SUNY Brockport.
