ROCHESTER, NY – The RIT men’s lacrosse team, ranked third in the STX/USILA Division III poll, improved to 4-0 after defeating Keuka College (1-1) 13-6 on Wednesday afternoon at the RIT's Turf Field.

RIT played a sloppy first half, leading 6-4 at the break. Trevor Hoselton (Skaneateles, NY) had three of RIT's six first-half goals.

Despite firing 20 shots in the quarter RIT mustered just one goal. Keuka goalie Chad Green turned away 11 shots in the third to keep the Storm in the game. The Tigers opened the third quarter on a goal from Eric Pritchard (Webster, NY/Webster Schroeder) (Webster, NY).

Ryan Burton made it a two-goal game late in the third quarter, tallying his second goal of the game, making it 7-5.

That would be as close as the Storm would get. RIT exploded for six goals in the fourth quarter to pull away. Andrew Ruocco (Corning, NY/Corning East) (Corning, NY/Corning East) had two goals and an assist in the fourth to lead the Tigers charge. He finished with six points on three goals and three assists.

Senior midfielder Jacob Brunner (Lafayette, NY/Lafayette) (Lafayette, NY/Tully) enjoyed another tremendous game winning 17-of-23 face-offs, had two assists and grabbed 10 ground balls.
