Men's Soccer Loses to Hobart

GENEVA, NY-- RIT's Mark Frisicano (Rochester, NY/Greece Olympia) (Rochester, NY) tied the score at 1-1 20 minutes into the first half but it wasn't enough as RIT (0-3) fell to Hobart College (3-0) 2-1, in non-league action.

Hobart took the lead in the 19th minute on a goal by Tyler Webster, scoring on an assist from Ben Crosky. The Tigers tied the score at 1-1 in the 20th minute on Frisicano's first goal of the season.

RIT had six shots in the first half as Hobart fired eight shots. RIT goalkeeper Chris Rouland (Center Valley, PA/Southern Lehigh) made two first-half saves and six for the game.

Hobart took the lead in 50th minute on a goal by Tyler Schoeniger who headed in a ball crossed by Dan Riso. The Statesmen's defense tightened in the second half holding RIT without a shot.

RIT will host Hamilton College on Saturday afternoon beginning at 12 pm.
