PITTSFORD, NY -- The RIT women's swimming/diving team was defeated by Nazareth College 137-97 on Saturday afternoon at Nazareth College. The loss drops RIT to 4-6 in dual meets this season.

Freshman Kristen Curtze (Edinboro, PA) won two individual events for the Tigers. She won the 200 freestyle in a time of 2:20.88 and the 200 butterfly in a time of 2:14.40.

Junior diver Gretchen Anderson (Coopersburg, PA/) (Coopersburg, PA) swept both diving events. She won the 1-meter event with a total score of 192.10 and took home first place in the 3-meter event with a score of 212.95.

The Tigers will compete at the New York State Championships beginning on February 15 and running the 18th.
