Rochester, NY - The RIT women's tennis team hosted the Elmira Soaring Eagles. The Tigers defeated the Soring Eagles 8-1 and increasing their record to 6-1.

Caroline Caillet (Meudon, France/Meudon) (Meudon, France/Meudon) and Kseniya Klyachko (Utica, NY/Whitesboro) (Utica, NY/Whitesboro) both shut out their opponents in singles. And in doubles Caillet and Brianne Francisco (Amsterdam, NY/Amsterdam) (Amsterdam, NY/Amsterdam) and Klyachko and Annie Nichols (Manchester, NH/Central) (Manchester, NH/Central) both defeated their opponents 8-1.

The Tigers play at home Monday against SUNY Geneseo at 3:30 pm.
