GENESEO, NY -- The SUNY Geneseo Blue Knights defeated the RIT Tigers (18-10) in a thrilling five game match in the Carl Schrader Gymnasium tonight, coming from an 8-2 deficit to win 15-12 in the fifth and deciding game.

The Knights jumped out to a two-game lead with 30-21, 30-28 wins, before the Tigers forced the fifth game with 30-27, 30-28 victories in games three and four.

Sophomore Jessica Schaffer (Wellington, OH/Keystone) (Wellington, OH/Keystone) and junior Cecilia Enestrom (Medicine Hat, AB/McCoy) (Medicine Hat, ALB/McCoy) had 17 kills apiece for RIT and sophomore Nichole Boxler (Varysburg, NY/Attica) (Varysburg/Attica) contributed 46 assists.

With the loss RIT drops to 18-10 on the season and will compete at the Empire 8 crossover this Saturday and Sunday at Elmira College.
