Women's Swimming Loses to Geneseo

ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT women's swimming/diving team fell to Geneseo State 118-94 this afternoon at Judson Pool on the campus of RIT.

Freshman Kristen Curtze (Edinboro, PA), Gretchen Anderson (Coopersburg, PA/) (Coopersburg, PA) and Sarah Keesler (Endicott, NY/) (Endicott, NY) each won a pair of events for the Tigers.

Curtze took first place in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.62. She also won the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 56.01.

Keesler won the 200-yard IM in a time of 2:16.65. She also won the 200-yard breaststroke in a time of 2:35.41.

Anderson won both the one-meter and the three-meter diving events. She won the one-meter board with a score of 194.55 and too first in the three-meter board with a score of 228.70.

The team of Kate Savidge (New Cumberland, PA/) (New Cumberland, PA), Liz Phillips (Mechanicsburg, PA/) (Mechanicsburg, PA), Amanda Williams (Hudson, OH/) (Hudson, OH) and Jessica Schaefer (Bethel Park, PA/) (Bethel Park, PA) won the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 4:20.11.
